Princess Sofia Birthday Party

I thank God everyday for my first daughter, Claire Misono.  I had learned the meaning of unconditional love the moment I laid my eyes on you.  From day one, Claire has been a blessing to our lives, brings us joy, shows us love, teaches us patience and the need for consistency, makes us laugh with her silly giggles.  Claire has been a fabulous big sister to Fiona Yumi; taking care of her, guiding her, and making sure she isn't making too big of a mess.  I pray that she will continue her love of learning & reading, playing outdoors, following the rules (breaking only a few), making new friends, and cleaning after her sister.  When asked what she wants to be when she grows up, she stated: "I want to be a baker like you!"  I am so proud and happy to be your mommy!  Love you, always and forever.

A BIG Thank you to Dr. Saya for helping to prepare the decorations, party favor bags, pom poms, and so much more.  You're such a great aunt to Claire -- her favorite babysitter-careful-cutter!

Another BIG Thank you to April and Darryl for coordinating the clubhouse rental as well as help to set up for the party.  Darryl, thank you for setting up the tables, and blowing up the balloons. April, you were a fabulous decorator!  You made the party look awesome with your touch!

And another BIG thank you to my husband, Jason Yuki, for helping to unload everything from the cars and set up for the party.  I know balloons aren't your thing, but you did a great job helping to distribute them around the room!

And last but not least, THANK YOU to all of our friends who came from down the street in Lorton, Woodbridge, Mount Vernon, Arlington, Annadale, Manassas, Washington DC, Rockville, North Laurel, and all the way from North Carolina to celebrate our Claire's 4th Birthday.  Your presence made her birthday extra special and we really appreciate it!

Happy 4th Birthday, my dear sweet angel, Claire Misono!!

Party Time!
